With more than 16,000 participants every year, the Dana Point Turkey Trot has been named one of the best Thanksgiving Day runs by Fitness Magazine and measured as the sixth largest Turkey Trot in the nation. The Dana Point Turkey Trot is a non-profit event produced by the Dana Point Chamber of Commerce featuring a 5K, 10K, kid’s race, and two-day health and wellness exposition, the proceeds of which benefit the Dana Point 5th Marine Regiment Support Group.

The race is a USA Track & Field sanctioned event and is part of the Southern California USATF Championship, 2012 Road Running Grand Prix Series. Tour the beautiful beaches, majestic cliffs and coves of Dana Point. Feel the pounding surf and cool ocean breezes as you sail through the Dana Point Marina and Doheny State Park.
